In Him we live and move and have our being
Acts 17:23

At our Academy, students are educated in the Catholic faith from PreK through senior high, growing in knowledge, understanding, and lived experience of their faith at every stage of development. At the high school level, students deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith through focused study of Church history, Theology, and Christian morality.

Catholic Faith & Theology
Instruction encourages students to think critically and personally about their faith through reflection, classroom discussion, Bible study, and spiritual retreats. We foster open and respectful conversations about God and guide students in applying Catholic values to every aspect of their lives—academically, socially, and spiritually. Theology is taught daily and includes historical studies, reflective journaling, and biblical explorations.

Service & Community Engagement
As part of the Religion/Theology curriculum, students in Grades 6–12 are required to complete annual service hours. Through this requirement, we seek to instill a lifelong appreciation for service and stewardship, encouraging a desire for giving. Students fulfill their service hours by volunteering at school, within their parishes, and throughout the broader community. Our hope is that students not only recognize the importance of serving others but also carry this commitment into their adult lives. Service hour requirements vary for each grade.

Retreats & Spiritual Growth
Students in Grades 6–12 participate in an annual religious retreat held off campus. Each retreat is designed around a theme that complements the religious curriculum and provides students with meaningful opportunities for prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

Worship & Sacramental Life
Father David Bechtel, Pastor of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, serves as our school Chaplain. Students attend weekly Mass, celebrated either at St. Boniface Church or in our High School Chapel. Priests from the six area Catholic parishes preside at our liturgies, and our student choir provides beautiful musical accompaniment. Students actively participate in Mass as altar servers, lectors, and gift bearers.
Throughout the liturgical year, students are offered rich sacramental experiences, including:
-
The Sacrament of Reconciliation during Advent and Lent
-
Stations of the Cross during the Lenten season
-
Opportunities for Eucharistic Adoration and rosary prayer throughout the school year

Community
We proudly welcome students of all faith backgrounds into our Academy. While our education is rooted in the Catholic tradition, we ask that all students, regardless of denomination, respectfully participate in and honor our Masses, prayer experiences, and religious services.
