At St. John Neumann Regional Academy, we believe all are called to grow in their faith. We do this by guiding our students to understand and practice Gospel values, to live a faith-filled relationship with God, and to share their unique gifts with the world around them. Our focus is to guide students into well-rounded, conscious, purpose-driven young adults by instilling in them God-given confidence and values. We offer a safe, family, Christian atmosphere, where our students develop lasting positive social skills and life-long friendships.
St. John Neumann Regional Academy is accredited by the Middle States Association and is in the Diocese of Scranton Catholic School system. Our school has been thriving and offering a unique approach to education for over 100 years. We are the only Catholic School in Lycoming Country and within a 50 mile radius. Our small class sizes empower individualized approaches to learning topics, while allowing the studnet's authentic self to be seen and valued.
Our Junior/Senior High School Campus houses Grades 6-12.
We offer a Family feeling; a close-knit, caring community welcomes the hearts of all as we strive to live a life that Jesus would be proud of. Every moment is important and every moment is an opportunity to learn more and to grow deeper. At Saint John Neumann, students develop a strong sense of morals and values. Prayer is integrated throughout our school day, and all students have Religion/Theology class daily. Mass is celebrated bi-weekly at our High School Chapel, with Academy-wide Masses celebrated at Saint Boniface. Students learn the Catholic faith through their daily classes, attendance at Mass and various prayer services, Penance services, Benediction, recitation of the Holy Rosary, Stations of the Cross, through conversations and time spent with our local priests and sisters. They learn what it truly means when we ask the question, "What would Jesus do?"
Jesus Christ is the reason our school exists and we are proud of it! Our Catholic faith is present in every aspect of student life, and students develop a strong sense of morals and values, backed by their understanding of the Holy Gospels.
The St. John Neumann Regional Academy is committed to the following:
-
The Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Catholic faith will be the foundation of everything we do.
-
Religion and Theology will be taught daily and promoted as the most important part of our curriculum.
-
The celebration of Mass and sacraments will be essential and frequent parts of our academic calendar.
-
Prayer will begin and end every day and be present in virtually every class and school activity.
-
Children will be educated in an environment full of religious art, sacred images, and contact with the priest and religious sisters.
-
An age-appropriate promotion of the Church's pro-life teachings, which distinguish us from the popular culture.
-
All students will be familiar with Catholic traditions of the spiritual life: Eucharistic adoration, the Rosary, the liturgical year, and devotion to the saints.
-
We will ensure that the spiritual and moral formation of our children is paramount, for, without this, no education is complete.
