There are a variety of clubs and extra curriculars for St. John Neumann students to participate in. We are always open to students and teachers enhancing the experience by leading initiatives that they feel would be relevant. Our current offerings are listed in alphabetical order, along with a brief description:
Academic Decathlon
An educational competition that challenges students in ten different areas of academic achievement
Chess Club
Learn and practice this game of intelligence
Choir
Sing at weekly Masses and school events
Coffee Club
Real life business practices and enjoy serving students and staff in the Commons area twice a week.
Con Con
Mock Constitutional Convention
Debate Club
Students formally discuss and argue various topics
Drama Club
Performances include a yearly play or musical.
Force for Good Club
We have an active group of students who share positive words and events throughout the year in a variety of events and initiatives.
Interscholastic Reading Competition
Students compete by reading given books and answering questions.
Key Club
An international, student-led service organization that tackle a variety of projects in the name of service.
Model UN
Students roleplay as diplomats to simulate United Nations (UN) conferences
Music Rock Band and Lessons
Students have the opportunity to play, practice, and perform in synchronized groups, or individually.
National Honor Society
Recognizes outstanding high school students who demonstrate excellence in Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character
National Art Honor Society
Recognizes high school students with outstanding ability and interest in the visual arts, promoting scholarship, character, and service.
SADD Club
Students Against Destructive Decisions
Scholastic Scrimmage
An academic quiz bowl covering a variety of studied topics.
Spirit Club
Responsible for igniting the Neumann spirit throughout our school; hosting pep rally's, decorating, etc.
Student Council
Students who wish to serve their school and class are encouraged to run and serve in this group.
Youth Development Task Force
Selected students visit Penn College monthly to continuously support, monitor, and raise awareness on mental/physical health
