SJNRA Family Fun Knight:
Many thanks to the 300+ members of the St. John Neumann family who attended the SJNRA Family Fun Knght at Susquehanna State Park and aboard the Hiawatha Paddlewheel Boat last night. All who attended were treated to a delicious dinner, friendly conversation, and a beautiful boat ride on the Susquehanna River on a picture-perfect summer evening.  Special thanks to the Development Office and the Neumann Parent Athletic Association (NPAA) for providing the prizes.  This is just the first of several Academy family events this year in celebration of  the 135 year anniversary of Catholic Education in Lycoming County.  Stay tuned!

First Day of School:
The first day of school is Monday, August 30 at all SJNRA campuses.  After care will begin on Tuesday, August 31.  Enjoy the rest of your summer break!

 

Gym wear for junior/senior high school students will be available at the HS office starting on Monday, August 30.  Gym wear for the Franklin St. and Sheridan St. campuses is available by filling out a gym wear order form, which is available at either office, or by calling Kathy Bahr at 323-9953, ext. 205, or you may respond to this email with your order.  Gym wear ordered via the order form will be delivered to your child's campus within one school day.

 

7/8th GRADE SOFTBALL PLAYERS URGENTLY NEEDED:  We are in desperate need of players
for the 7/8th grade softball team.  Originally we had 10 players sign up and the coach was just informed that 3 players have decided not to play.  Therefore we only have 7 players available for the team and naturally we need a minimum of 9 players to field a team. 

It appears that we will have to drop the program unless we get at least two more players to sign up.  Therefore, if any girls are interested in playing, please contact Mr. Lupacchino at 323-9953, ext 217 or Coach Henderson at  244-1128.  If we do not get additional players by 3 September, the program will be cancelled. Please support the Neumann sports program!
