PARENTS MEETING FOR BOYS SOCCER TEAM:  There will be a mandatory meeting for all parents of the Boys Varsity Soccer team on Thursday, 26 August 2010 at 6:00 PM in the High School Library.  A parent of each player is required to be there so that the parents can meet the coaches.  Also this will be an opportunity for the coaches to discuss and explain their team rules and what is expected from the players and for the parents to ask any questions or concerns that they may have for the upcoming season.

 

CURRENT UP-TO-DATE SCHEDULES:  There are always changes to our sports schedules and in order to have accurate and up-to-date information, please do not rely on the Sun-Gazette for current information.  For instant and accurate changes to any schedule, go on the website to:  www.highschoolsports.net and then click onto Pennsylvania and then St. John Neumann Regional Academy and then once into the school site, just search for any schedule or other information you may want.  As soon as the Athletic Department makes a change into our computer system, it is immediately changed at the same time in the highschoolsports.net website, so it is as accurate and up-to date as you can get.

 

FALLS SPORTS SEASON HAS STARTED:   Some of our sports teams have already started their season, even before school starts.  The following are upcoming games/matches for our teams:

GOLF - Next match is Wednesday, 25 August at White Deer at 3:00 PM (Still need additional players for our Golf team)

GIRLS TENNIS - First match is home at Brandon Park against Lewisburg at 4:00 PM on Monday, 23 August.   Next match is at Montgomery on Wednesday, 25 August at 4:00 PM (We still could use a few more girls to play tennis if they are interested)

7/8th GRADE SOFTBALL -  First game is home on Tuesday, 7 September at 4:00 PM against Jersey Shore.  All home games are at Elm Park.  (We also need a few more players as well for softball).

GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER - The girls will have a scrimmage game on Monday, 23 August at 5:00 PM against Liberty High School at our home field at Metzger Field.  On Saturday, 28 August, the team will be involved in a scrimmage against Bellefonte at 12:20 PM at Short Field (Loyalsock Field) and also a scrimmage at 1:10 PM against Benton also at Short Field.  Their first game will be at home on Friday, 3 September at 4:30 PM against Northumberland Christian School.

BOYS VARSITY SOCCER - The boys will play their first regular season game away on Friday, 3 September at 4:30 PM at Northumberland Christian School and their first home game will be on Tuesday, 7 September at 4:30 PM against Muncy High School (We still could use a few more players if any boys are interested).

 

So come our and support all our teams as we should have some competitive teams and exciting games this year.

 

SPECIAL SALE ON BASKETBALL SEASON TICKETS: The sale of basketball season tickets are going fast like Hot Italian Sausages, so if you are interested in obtaining a special price for the upcoming basketball season, contact Mr. Lupacchino at 323-9953, ext 217.  The season ticket sale is $20.00 (normally $25.00) for adults and $5.00 (normally $8.00) for students for any 10 home games for Varsity Boys or Girls and/or for any Junior High Boys or Girls games.  Tickets can be obtained from Mr. Lupacchino in room 213 or you can mail in your check and the tickets will be mailed back to you.  Make checks payable to SJNRA.
