Polling of Interest: SJNRA Before-School Care Program
We are considering a Before School Care Program at our Sheridan Street and Franklin Street Campuses, for students in grades Pre-K3 through 6th grade, and would appreciate parental input. The Before School Care Program would operate from 6:30 am – 7:30 am each school day, and be monitored by a SJNRA staff member(s). Cold breakfast items, such as cereal, milk, juice, Pop-Tarts, etc. would be available for the students, and would be included in the cost of the program.
Pricing is a one-tier fee of $6.00 per day. Billing for the Before School Care Program would be similar to our After Care Program.

SJNRA Position Filled:
Thank you to the many people who responded to the Elementary Teacher's Aide job opening. The position has been filled.
Lady Knights Soccer Meeting:
There will be a mandatory meeting for all parents of girls that are scheduled to play on the Girls Varsity Soccer team. The meeting will be held on Monday, 9 August 2010 at 7:30 PM in the High School Library. The meeting will only last approximately 30-45 minutes and the coach desires to discuss and explain the upcoming season and to answer any questions that the parents may have. The girls will have open practice that evening at 6:30 PM and the practice will end at 7:15 PM so that the players and parents can attend the meeting. Volunteer Opportunity:
Students, ages 16 years or older, are needed to do volunteer work in the Little League Gift Shop during the first three days of the Little League World Series -- Aug 20, 21 & 22. The students could gain 8 hours toward their service hour allotment per day and they do receive a Little League T-shirt and a lunch stipend.
