3.  NEW HEAD COACH FOR BOYS VARSITY SOCCER:   Due to his increased work situation, Mr. Joe Friel has resigned as the Boys Varsity & Jr. High Soccer coach.  His assistant Mr. Robert Trepanowski will assume the Head Coach position and Mr. Chris Vanaskie will be the assistant coach.  Both individuals were former players for St. John/Bishop Neumann and have a number of years experience in coaching and playing in the adult programs, so they will bring a lot of new and different  ideas to the program.

4.  COACHING POSITIONS AVAILABLE:  We currently have coaching positions available for the following programs:

Girls Varsity Tennis (Fall - Late August to Early October)
Boys Varsity Tennis  (Spring -  Mid March to Late April)

Compatible  salary compensation for these positions.  If interested contact Mr. Lupacchino at 323-9953, ext 217.

6.  REDUCED RATE FOR BASKETBALL SEASON TICKETS:
Special reduced basketball season tickets are now available from Mr. Lupacchino in the Athletic Office.  Regular season tickets are normally $25.00 for Adults and $8.00 for Students.  The Special reduced prices are $20.00 for Adults and $5.00 for Students.  These season tickets are good for 10 regular season home games for any of the Boys or Girls Varsity, Junior Varsity (JV) or Junior High Basketball games.  It only averages  $2.00 per game for Adults and .50 cents per game for Students.  So hurry in and get your tickets  during our Pre-Season Sale.  Make your checks payable to St. John Neumann.  Mr. Lupacchino is normally in the Athletic Office Monday thru Friday from 10:00 AM until 4:00 or 5:00 PM.  Phone 323-9953, ext 217.

We should have some exciting basketball again this year, so now is the time to get your season tickets and it is ideal as gifts for family and friends and it saves you a little money so that you can spend it at the concession stand during the game.

7.  NEEDED - STATISTICIAN & PERSON TO VIDEO TAPE BOYS BASKETBALL GAMES:
Mr. Petcavage, the Boys Varsity Coach is looking for any students or adults that would be interested in keeping the game stats and also a person to video tape the games (camera provided). These individuals would travel with the team for away games and would do the stats and video tape all the home games.  If interested, contact Mr. Lupacchino.

8.  THANKS TO THE 2010 SENIOR CLASS.  In behalf of the school and the Athletic Department, we would like to thank the 2010 Senior Class and Mrs. Wendy Trenholm as they have donated part of their senior class funds to build a beautiful 22 foot long cafe style counter along the wall in the front entrance of the gym.  Due to the fire and safety codes, we were restricted from having tables and chairs in this area, however, now there is a very convenient counter area where individuals can relax and eat those delicious sandwiches and soups from the concession stand.
Again thank you to the Seniors for their thoughtful consideration in donating some of their class funds to support the athletic programs, and  a special thanks to Mrs. Trenholm for working with and coordinating this project with the Seniors.  A special name plate has been placed on the countertop in recognition of the donation by the Senior Class.

Sincerely,
Mr. Frank Lupacchino
