Dorothy VanDine, junior at St. John Neumann, will be representing SJNRA at the PMEA Region IV Orchestra Festival in Reading, PA.  Dorothy placed first chair on cello at the PMEA District 8 Orchestra Festival which automatically qualified her for PMEA Region IV Orchestra.  PMEA Region IV comprises schools from 14 counties in Northeastern PA.  The Festival concludes with a concert Saturday afternoon at Reading High School.  Dorothy will audition for her chair placement at this Festival, and should she place high enough, will qualify for PMEA All-State Orchestra.  All-State Orchestra will be held in Pittsburgh after Easter in April.  Congratulations to Dorothy and Good Luck!

 

NPAA Meeting:
The NPAA (Neumann Parent Athletic Association) meeting scheduled for tonight has been postponed until Tuesday, March 2 at 6 pm in the High School Library.  All are welcome to attend!

 

Gertrude Hawk Candy Orders:
Gertrude Hawk Easter Candy orders are due to any SJNRA campus office by Friday, February 26.  Delivery of the candy will be the week of March 15. Thank you for your support of this fundraiser!
