Junior High Girls' Basketball Team Recognition:
On Friday, January 15th, at the Boys' Varsity basketball home game against Muncy, the St. John Neumann 7th and 8th Grade Junior High Girls' teams will be recognized for their accomplishments and winning records. They will be recognized at half-time of the Varsity game. Please come out and show your support!
Student of the Quarter:
Congratulations to St. John Neumann sophomore Alana Androvette, who has been chosen as the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce Student of the Quarter. Look for Alana's photo at Wegmans soon!
University of Scranton Brain Bee:
A Brain Bee will be held at the University of Scranton on Saturday, February 13, 2010 from 1:30PM-4:00PM. The competition, open to students in grades 9-12, is sponsored by the Northeast PA Area Health Education Center and the University of Scranton’s Neuroscience Department. The first place winner will receive a $1000 scholarship to the University of Scranton, $400, a $25 Borders gift card and will be eligible to compete in the National Brain Bee. Second and third place winners will each receive $50 and a $25 Borders gift card. The competition is a live, question and answer academic competition. Students may now register and there is no cost.
