SJNRA Seniors Engage in Service Projects
SJNRA Senior Ann Kaufman is presenting a Christmas Concert entitled, “Sights, Sounds and Songs of the Season” on Saturday, December 19 at 7 pm at the Faxon-Kenman United Methodist Church, Clayton and Sheridan Streets, Williamsport. The concert will feature the talents of Ann Kaufman, SJNRA alumnus Ryan Workman, members of the Repasz Band and Williamsport Youth Symphony Orchestra, the St. Ann Church Choir, the Faxon-Kenmar Handbell Choir, select singers of St. John Neumann Regional Academy, and organ selections by Fr. Paul Fontanella. In lieu of an admission fee, Ann asks that guests donate an item for military care packages (cards, candy, batteries, puzzle books, socks, snacks, etc.). Monetary donations will also be accepted to defray the postage cost in sending the care packages to our military men and women. Ann will assemble and mail out the military care packages.
SJNRA Senior Chelsea Martin has recorded a contemporary Christian music CD, featuring the vocals of Kristin Fisher and Bryant Rockoff. There are eleven songs on the CD, including “The Prayer”, “Over the Rainbow” and “Held”. The CDs are $10 and will be available at the Neumann Alumni Basketball game on December 20 at the SJNRA HS Gym. Chelsea will be selling her CDs after all Masses at Annunciation and Mater Dolorosa on Sunday, December 20. They are also available now at the Flatiron Salon and DiSalvo’s Restaurant. Or you may sign up to purchase the CD at the SJNRA HS office. All proceeds will be donated to ShowHope, an organization that helps orphans and their Christian families afford the cost of adoption.
St. John Neumann Regional Academy is proud of the outstanding volunteer commitment of students such as Ann Kaufman and Chelsea Martin, and we wish them the best of luck with their service projects. Please support them in their efforts!
